Who are the UK Angels?
The UK angels is an internet-based support group, aimed at providing help, friendship and support to the Trans community.
Set up in 1999, there are now over 2500 members of the mailing list and over 6000 members of the forum. The forum has now closed, but the Facebook group continues. You can also follow us on BlueSky.
Who runs the Angels?
The Angels was set up by Kim and Joanna. As of Spring 2008 Joanna now runs the Angels on her own and so any enquiries should be sent to her. (joanna@theangels.co.uk)
There are a great many other girls who play a very active part in the life of the angels and are always ready and willing to offer help and support to others – such as our forum moderators who do a brilliant job!

Nothing – membership is free.

I’m not trans- can I still join?
The group is aimed at trans people and their partners. Real girls are welcome, but not male admirers. This is not a pick up club.
I’m not from the UK – can I still join?
Ex-pats, or trans people with a link to the UK are welcome to join. Overseas members may find one of the other clubs that we are linked with more suitable.
How do I get an Angel name?
Just choose one. We’ve stopped doing official angel names. As you can guess this would be tricky with 4000 members!
I’m a trans Porn Star – Can I publicise my site on the Angels?
No. The angels is about promoting the positive side of being trans, not the seedier side. If you have an adult website, there are plenty of other websites and yahoo groups that will let you publicise it. Please do not post the address onto the Angels.
I’ve taken some adult photographs – Can I share them with you?
If your website has adult images on it, we would rather you did not post the link to our members. Again, there are many places where you can promote these images, the Angels is not one of them.
Can I make a donation to the Angels?
Some girls like to make a donation to the Angels, to help with the running of the servers etc. If you want to do this, contact Joanna.
